Greensleeve's A&R Mastermind To Part Company

Chris Cracknell, Greensleeve's A&R man for 30 years, is to part with the company in order to pursue other interests. In the years since the company was created, originally as a record shop in West Ealing, London, Greensleeves has become one of the world's largest reggae labels.

As well as releasing albums from most of Jamaica's top artists, Greensleeves also produce the profitable "Rhythm Album" series. He will vacate his role at the end of March.

The parting of ways come one year after Greensleeves Records was purchased by Zest Group Plc, with Cracknell agreeing to a one-year contract in order to aid the transition.
